A 1935 Movie Program found in a wall on Broadway Street:

Lines stretched around the corner for the road show Mom and Dad, a controversial film about "hygiene" made in 1944 or 1947. Banned by the Catholic church, this feature by showman Kroger Babb showed venereal disease and the birth of a baby, in graphic detail. In the most successful exploitation film of the 1940's, the show's presenters sold his-and-hers manuals to audiences strictly segregated by gender.
